Revelation 22:20 tells us in the words of Jesus,
“Surely I am coming quickly.”
John answers, “Amen. Even so come, Lord Jesus!”

Quickly means suddenly — no rehearsal.
Do you have anything you want to get done before he comes or are you ready to go now?
Paul tells us, “For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain.” Philippians 1:21

We live in service to God with packed bags!

All aboard!!!

Life Principle #14 : God acts on behalf of those who wait for Him.

Genesis 40:23
Yet did not the chief butler remember Joseph, but forgot him.

God remembered though. Joseph rose overnight to the second most powerful in Egypt, when the time was right!

Wait on GOD and for GOD, He is always on time!

Life Principle #13 : Listening to God is essential to walking with God.

1 Samuel 3:19-20
And Samuel grew, and the LORD was with him, and did let none of his words fall to the ground. And all Israel from Dan even to Beersheba knew that Samuel was established to be a prophet of the LORD.

Samuel believed God for every word and knew His character. Our opinions of God can cloud our perception of God and affect our relationship with Him. It is best to let Him describe Himself using His own word.

Psalm 138:2
I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.

John 14:27
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Revelation 21:5
And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

The world is satisfied with the hangover after the celebration. Not much of a deal!

Want to insure a Happy New Year — as in a blessed new year?

Spend more time in the word of God! It is faithful and true and the celebration never ends!!!

Love to you all and Happy New Year!

Better than all that — Happy New Life!

Love in Christ, Pastor Doug
